Jim Inhofe - It'll Be Different in Oklahoma

Jerk extraordinaire, Jim Inhofe believes it will be different in Oklahoma. I've been trying to find this video for hours. I rarely watch or listen to Chris Jansing, but it was on this morning when she interviewed the Oklahoman Senator.

For once Jansing asked a relevant question about how Inhofe would vote for Oklahoma Relief in view of the fact that he voted against Sandy Relief just a few months ago.

Partial transcript

Chris Jansing had a long lead up to the money question, but she finally got to it.

Jansing:

Is there money to help the people here in your home state rebuild?
Senator Jim Inhofe:
Well, well, let's look at that. That was total different. They were getting things for instance that were supposed to be in New Jersey. They had things in the Virgin Islands... They were fixing roads there. They are putting roofs on houses in Washington D.C. Everybody was getting in and exploiting the tragedy that took place. That won't happen in Oklahoma.
That's clear. The hypocrisy is standard. Spending on Oklahoma for disaster relief is good. Spending on disaster relief anywhere else is bad. Inhofe didn't approve the Sandy Relief spending because it went too far, but that "won't happen in Oklahoma". I'm not sure if the man is delusional or if he really believes his own hogwash. He felt differently in 2008....but that was different. No doubt there was pork spending in the 2008 disaster relief bill, but it wasn't enacted. None the less Inhofe took credit for what was released to his home state. Meanwhile, Senator Inhofe clings to his hard hearted ways that allows him to cherry pick who deserves help and who should be stiffed.

What a guy.
