Chris Hayes last night did a good job of defining the Clean CR fight - Continuing Resolution. I hadn't realized just how far the right has succeeded in their budget demands. This graph makes it quite clear.
We have heard Democratic Senators and Congressional members say that this CR is set to the number the GOP demanded. This CR number is $80 billion below the 2011 deabt limit deal, $72 billion below the 2014 Senate budget and just $19 billion over the Paul Ryan Budget he campaigned on and voters decided was too harsh. Here we are 10 months later and it looks like despite the GOP is putting their agenda in place despite not controlling the Senate or White House. Obviously, the GOP are better poker players.
